second round ready to go.

With all eight conference quarterfinals complete, we're down to eight teams total.

In the West, the top four seeds all got beaten. Out East, all four of the top seeds advanced. No matter what happens, the Eastern Conference champion will be the "home team" in the Stanley Cup Finals. Please note also that the Eastern Conference champ will definitely be a team that wears RED AND BLACK.

Even considering the upsets in the West, my first round picks were shit. I only got three series winners (San Jose, Carolina and Ottawa) correct. Meanwhile, Maggie the Monkey got four (San Jose, Colorado, Carolina, Buffalo) correct. I'm dumber than a monkey.

I've taken the time to generate this "bracket" for the remaining eight teams, and made my picks all the way to the Cup. Of course, I've picked my Canes to win it all, walking all over the Avs in the Cup final.
