more on Tie Domi

I've always thought that Tie Domi was nothing more than a thug, but I never knew he was a baby. Until now.

During an interview with Toronto AM640 "Leafs Lunch" host Bill Watters, Domi launched into a diatribe about how much he hates it when people criticize him, especially radio talk show hosts. TSN.ca has a video clip of the event here.

After pouting for a while, Domi just walked away from the interview.

Of course I didn't hear the entire interview so I don't know if Domi was being mistreated, or if Watters crossed the line, but it seems kind of drastic to walk away like that.

Hey, Tie... You're a professional athlete. Athletes get criticism from the media and fans. Especially in a city where the the fans' expectations are really high. That's just the way it is. You're supposed to be thick-skinned about that. You're also supposed to keep your nose out of the newspapers and your ears away from the radio. Just focus on hockey and on cashing your paychecks. Don't worry about what radio personalities say.
