Reason # 4043 why the Blackhawks suck

I've been sitting on this for a while. Now that the 'Hawks have officially given up on this season, I figure it's okay to bring it up.

You can blame the Blackhawks' woes on a number of things. Most folks blame Nikolai Kabhibulin's collapse. Some folks blame piss poor management.

I blame hookers.

The following comes from the blog of my friend Hans. Hans lives in Chicago and is a server at a somewhat fancy restaurant.

Recently we had some guests come into the restaurant who were professional sports players from a certain well-known sports organization. My friend John waited on them, and I swear, this happened:

JOHN: How's the halibut?
PROFESSIONAL SPORTS PLAYER FROM WELL-KNOWN SPORTS ORGANIZATION: I ate out a hooker.
JOHN: How did that compare to the halibut?

No word on whether the hooker was of the slot-machine variety.

For some unknown reason, Hans decided to protect the identity of the team with vague language, but he told me in IM that it was the Blackhawks. No word on which player had the hooker/halibut combo.

Visiting hookers and bragging about it to strangers is no way to make your team better. Less time in the red light district, more time in the practice facility.

I SO did not need to read that before dinner. Yuck...

Next thing before you know it, we'll be hearing about a Blackhawks sex ship scandal...and you thought that kind of stuff only happened in the NFL.
