JJ's one big failing (and his down...Beg to differ.<br /><br />JJ's one big failing (and his downfall, IMO) is that he's a discipline problem. Look at his penchant for bonehead maneuvers like his elbow to the head of Steve Downie in the WJCs last year. Part of the reason why I wanted him to stay in school was because I had hoped that he'd learn to tone down the boneheadedness.<br /><br />That was my big misgiving about the kid--and then there was his dad, who is Carl Lindros without the tendency to shoot off his mouth to the press every five minutes about how his son won't play for $team and how his son's being mistreated by whoever he signs/signed with. If JJ signs with the Kings cos his dad told him to--and his dad is calling all the shots here, not JJ--then so be it. He's out of our conference, and he and Disco Dad are the Kings' problem now.<br /><br />If he winds up becoming Mr. Bonehead in the NHL, then I'd say the Hurricanes have won in a slamdunk.
