Devorski and McGeough

Tonight's referee tandem will be Paul Devorski and Mick McGeough.

I despise Devorski. We should expect to see some questionable, even BAD calls on both ends of the ice. From what little I've seen of McGeough, he's a good official, but I've seen way too much of Devorski and his marginal calls. Hopefully it won't be that bad.

Puck drop is at 8:00. I don't think I'll have my "MY BEARD BELIEVES" sign, but I might make a new one while I'm drinking beer in the parking lot.

GO CANES!!!!

You are right, David. Even The Orbs of Power still hums Brass Bonanza.

McGoo is NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT a good official. He is one of the worst...although maybe not as bad as Devorski. Why are we stuck with the worst pair of refs for the finals?? *ugh*

Brind'love rules! As Bob Cole said on the CBC, he was "Johnny on the spot!"

What a great game.

McGeough and Devorski did their best, but the Canes prevailed anyway.

Too bad about Roloson though, now our victory will be cheapened.

kubiak,

Agreed, the Roli injury wasn't Ladd's fault. The players know that.

The game winner really had nothing to do with Conklin. That was 100% on Jason Smith. I'm sure he feels about as bad as Steve Smith did 20 years ago after his "own goal" in game 7 of the Smythe Division finals.

see my newest post for more on that.

Hell no, it won't!!!

That's hockey, dude. Players get hurt in just about every game.

Nothing is cheapened, except maybe to Oilers fans...
